Furr's Intranet

There are over 54 Buffet Partner's restaurant locations in a half-dozen western and southern states, as well as three related units in Florida. For nearly 60 years, most of the human resources and operational processes used to keep the restaurant group running have been paper-based and manual leading to an extensive amount of printing and shipping costs, as well as time delays and inefficiencies associated with the paper forms, documents and manual processes. Additionally, was difficult for Buffet Partners to communicate quickly and effectively to all the employees, store managers, regional managers and employees of about Human Resources, operations, training, etc.

With the intranet project, Buffet Partners worked with InSite to build a web-based Intranet to immediately provide distribution of documents, electronic filing of forms, tracking of employee information, training information and courses, timely communications, and a significant cost savings over the current paper-based and manual process operations.

To date, the intranet has tremendously improved communications and efficiencies
