InSite Interactive recently deployed a touch screen interactive map to target potential leasers of the new Greenway Center development in Boston, Mass. InSite executed this project for Hines, one of the nation’s largest private real estate developers, changing the marketing of commercial real estate forever. The touch screen interactive map provides Hines with the latest in technology to sell this remarkable property.
Before a new commercial office building is finished, developers often build an on-site marketing center housed in a small building or trailer. Hines is doing just that for Greenway Center. From this location, Hines is selling the future Greenway Center development to large corporations seeking leasing opportunities.
Using a creative blend of high-end design and custom programming built on a Microsoft VirtualEarth & Silverlight foundation, InSite took the paper maps and brochures approach and made it interactive.
The single installation presents 16 different views of 8 different maps with custom overlays for various areas of interest, transportation access/routes, local amenities, and surrounding developments. InSite also included a document viewer to allow users the ability to access, move, resize and rearrange beautiful illustrative renderings of the building, its views, floor plans and other illustrative documentation — all with the touch of a finger.
