InSite is proud to announce the launch of the new www.WorldCitizensGuide.org website.
The World Citizens Guide project was started in 2004 by Business for Diplomatic Action to address the fact that America's favorability in other countries was decreasing. In a search for answers, there was a huge listening exercise with people all over the world. Four root causes of anti-American sentiment surfaced: our U.S. public policy, the negative effects of globalization, our popular culture and our collective personality.
InSite was engaged in 2004 to be a part of the team, and has donated our time since day one to ensure the project’s success. The website, featuring all the guides and supporting activities and resources, was re-launched this month to include a fresh new creative design, extensive facts and insights about many countries and cultures, and the ability to purchase both the student and business versions of the guides online.
All of us at InSite are passionate about this important initiative. We hope the guides and supporting website will encourage understanding of some basic yet important principles about traveling, working and living around the globe. Our goal is to turn U.S. citizens in the best possible world citizens, and to turn the world into a better place for all the planet's peoples.
