DALLAS, TX - InSite Interactive has changed the web-based multiplayer gaming rules with their latest release, the Tellabs Inspired or Tired game. The game, targeted to telecommunications industry engineers and executives, presents technical information, end-user behavior trends and pop culture knowledge in a fun, interactive way.
The game uses a multiplayer engine by Electrotank® to enable a single player mode or two players to compete. In multi-player mode, Inspired or Tired is played in real-time, head-to-head fashion. This is unlike most Internet based quiz games, which are turn-based or comparative (letting both players answer and comparing the answers to see who is correct). Each user ensures that the connection is maintained to the server and thus to the other user. These checks are done throughout play to ensure a game environment that is as fair as possible. This also makes game play over a VPN connection achievable.
The game is also customizable to enable the assignment of specific questions, video commercial breaks and other custom content to be targeted to users that fit within a specific grouping or affiliation (i.e. company for which they work). These groupings and affiliations allows for competitions between groups; company verses company results are shown at login if the user belongs to one of the competing companies.
The Inspired or Tired game was developed as a part of Tellabs' Inspire the New Life campaign which is dedicated to increasing service provider's understanding of how Generation Y and their (often obsessive) consumption of technology and bandwidth are increasing demands on networks. Through the Inspire the New Life campaign, service providers are engaged in conversations about evolving technologies and the resulting future of bandwidth consumption and network requirements.

- Build Campaign Awareness on Inspire the New life.
- Engage customers with the message
- Push the boundaries of technology
- Promote sharing of the game with friends

InSite's deliverables extend from the game and its microsite to ancillary promotional materials like banner ads, ringtones, a screensaver and even t-shirts.
