DALLAS, TX — InSite Interactive is pleased to see one of our most innovative, dynamic projects to date unveiled to BNSF Railway's rail switching stations nationwide. The BNSF TV network delivers safety notices, corporate news, regional updates, human interest stories, local weather, real-time stock data and other content to LCD screens throughout the BNSF rail system. The digital sign network is fully web-based, with content administrative tools integrated with BSNF's enterprise content management system and live RSS feeds. Content is delivered in Flash, text, graphic and video formats.
InSite's efforts on the project included technical and network architecture, system design, hardware research, creative design, custom programming and collaboration with BNSF's internal technical teams to integrate with internal systems. InSite also participated in field studies, site visits and end-user interviews to maximize acceptance and involvement by the intended audience. The network will have over 200 display locations.
