Cutting Edge Information Architecture Tools to Optimize the User Experience
During the planning stages of the new SMU Cox web site, InSite and the SMU team utilized two forms of web-based testing to ensure the usability and architecture of the site was headed in the right direction. A task-oriented user study provided heatmap-like results to show how users interacted with the site, and sorting exercises provided valuable feedback on content organization from the users’ perspective.
Efficiencies were maximized in conducting these tests, since they occurred entirely online, no one needed to travel or have any specific training or coaching. Results came almost instantly through “crowdsourcing”. The tests were engaging and practically effortless for the participants.

An icon around the office for her style and flair, our Production Director, Melissa Moore is more than just a pretty face (although she is that too!). Her capacious vocabulary, intellect and attention to detail have kept her endeared to many of InSite’s clients. This year she celebrates her 9th year as part of the InSite team.

The InSite kittens turned ONE August 15th!!! This momentous event was celebrated with a birthday party. Although the kittens spent most of the party hiding, they came out to enjoy their very own tuna cake and customized birthday box!
Just 3 days old when found, these babies were bottle fed and raised at InSite until they were old enough to go home with their new families. Accolades to the InSite team members who gave these kittens such wonderful homes.

Seven writers, four performers, nearly 500 jokes… and almost no zombies! Our own Bryan, Erica and Dan worked long and hard to turn a horribly boring movie into a hilarious masterpiece by adding an “alternate commentary track”. After just a few days on the site it became the Featured iRiff on the Rifftrax site. Watch it with friends for the full experience.
