Dan Douglass
Dan Douglass — Technical Director

As Technical Director at InSite Interactive, Dan manages the technical architecture process for all projects. He also helps to establish project estimates and timelines while keeping projects on track and in line with corporate quality standards.

More specifically, Dan is tasked with researching, defining, and implementing the solution platform architecture that fits not only the project at hand but also clients’ ongoing business objectives. His recent initiatives center around Green computing and ways for IT projects to become corporate assets or even generate revenue. Along with a broad understanding of most network operating systems and enterprise database platforms, Dan knows and/or teaches C#, C/C++/Visual C++, Visual Basic.Net, Visual Basic 6, XML, XPATH, XSLT, T-SQL, SQL, PL-SQL, JavaScript, VBScript, Win32 SDK, .Net Framework, ASP.NET, AJAX, CSS, ASP, ADO.NET, COM / DCOM, MTS / COM+, ATL, ODBC and OLEDB. He’s also experienced with enterprise CRM, portal, mail, management, e-commerce, network infrastructure, data management, and business intelligence solutions.

Dan attended the University of Texas at Arlington as a Computer Science Engineering major. From 1985 to 1991, he served in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear qualified electrician on board the nuclear submarine USS Daniel Webster. And though there was slight concern that the “sub bubbles” may have affected his brain, he’s been a contributing author for several über-nerdy publications and mind-blowingly complex technical guides.
